Pride guide – helping you celebrate in Europe 2017
The cities of the world are about to be taken over by glamorous festivals full of happy people, fantastic floats, and rainbow flags flying high. The streets will be thronging with daring, scantily clad parade-goers wearing everything from stupendous feather arrangements and glittering sequins to tight-fitting leather and chains.
Whatever the weather, this group of dedicated defiers of convention, proud parents, sponsors, and politicians will march for LGBT rights. Love, respect, and tolerance are what it’s all about. The parades also want to draw attention to the problems and injustices that still exist in many communities around the world.
